Marietta Morhardt, RN, CPN, CCM, is a CDI specialist at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. While she helped initiate the CDI team more than five years ago, Morhardt has been at the organization for 31 years, working as a floor nurse, as a charge nurse in medical-surgical and the pediatric ICU, and in case management. She has served on multiple shared governance committees and has served on a multidisciplinary steering committee to help focus on new goals for the hospital’s future.
