Eldeen Pozniak, BA, BSc, CEES, CHSC, CHSMSA, CRSP, FIIRSM, CMIOSH, the director of Pozniak safety, a Canadian Register Safety Professional (CRSP), a Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC), a Certified Health & Safety Management System Auditor (CHSMSA), a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (FIIRSM), and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in the UK (CMIOSH), has a diverse educational background.

She has attained both a Bachelor of Arts Degree & a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Saskatchewan and has completed her Ergonomics Professional Residency Program.

Pozniak is committed to a safer world of work through strong Occupational Health and Safety Management System concepts & standards.

Pozniak’s consistent attendance at safety seminars and continued education provides further opportunity to present and share her extensive base of knowledge and focus on continuous learning of the most current information and concepts. She has been lecturing at a variety of technical institutes and at the University of Saskatchewan from 1997 to 2009, developing and delivering numerous courses for the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program, and is now involved with the University of Fredericton as an OHS program consultant.

She is a recognized and sought-after international keynote, sessional, and workshop presenter. Due to her commitment and professionalism, she has been nominated for and received numerous awards such as the YWCA Women of Excellence—Women in the Profession, the Women in Business Athena Award, the 2001 Saskatchewan Safety Professional of the Year, the 2011 Canadian Safety Professional of the Year, and the ASSE’s 100 Women in Safety. She was inducted to the Saskatchewan Safety Councils Safety Hall of Fame in 2014.
