Asha Easo, RN, BSN, CCDS, believes in having integrity, which has served her well in life and in her career as a CDI specialist. Easo has worked in academic, large, and small community hospitals. In 2011, she transitioned from her role as a staff nurse to a CDI specialist, and in 2013, she attained CDI certification. She has worked as a CDI specialist for almost 10 years, and during this time she has worked closely with coding teams, management, and physician advisors. She has given CDI-related presentations at physician team/hospital department meetings. She has a great rapport with her team, management, physician advisors, and the coding team. She has experience in hospice/PSI/HAC second-level CDI reviews. Easo holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Elmhurst College.
